If you’re looking for free cna training classes in idaho you’ve come to the right place. Becoming a cna is a very rewarding career choice, and below you’ll find some info on how to become a cna in idaho. It’s worth me mentioning at this point that there are actually some places that will pay you to take cna classes, these are few and far between but it’s worth keeping this in mind when doing your searches. Other options include Job Corps, human services, and you can even apply for a loan or financial assistance.
We’ve managed to source some nursing homes and other places in Idaho that have been known in the past to pay for your cna training, however certain requirements will need to be met before you can apply, and in most situations you’ll need to work for them for ‘at least’ a year after becoming certified. This of course is normally not a problem, as you’re getting paid to train and also you’re guaranteed a job at the end of your training for at least a year… good stuff.
Bridgeview Estates, 1828 Bridgeview Blvd, Twin Falls. Contact# (208) 736-3933
- A few past employees of this healthcare facility have spoke quite favorably about them because they were offered sponsorship to pay for their CNA Training. In certain cases, they’ve also been known to pay for the state exam as well if they see enough potential in the candidate. You can be assured that you’ll be taking a state approved class and exam which is also another pre-requisite to work as a cna in idaho.
Mountain View Care Center, 500 Polk Street, Kimberly. Contact# (208) 423-5591
- This another great care center that has found it in their hearts to sponsor people to take cna classes. In addition to this, provided you work hard for them and for long enough, they’ll possibly help you to attain a higher job position with them, whilst still performing your normal CNA duties with them. Their requirements have been known to be a little stricter than other health care centers though.
Valley View Retirement Community, 1130 North Allumbaugh, Boise. Contact# (208) 322-0311
- Valley View have been listed as an LTC that provide low income to those who wish to enhance their lives via a career as a Certified Nursing Assistant. They’ll allow you to take cna training classes at the state approved center of your choice. You will however be expected to work for them, and they require a perfect attendance rate (obviously permitting circumstances for absence are allowed). Additionally, they’ll expect you to go straight from training to taking the exam and gaining your cna certification, failure to do so will result in them making you pay the money back to them, and it’ll also hurt the program for future applicants. Spots on this program can be extremely limited, so if you’re offered a place you will be expected to make the most of it.
Nampa Care Center, 404 N Horton Street, Nampa. Contact# (208) 466-9292
- The Nampa Care Center does not offer training onsite, but they will pay for you to take state approved cna classes in exchange for employment with them. They offer a few spots every few years, and it’s been mentioned on a few forums that they’ll have some more spots available very soon so give them a call if you’re interested.
We wish you the very best of luck finding free cna training, and we hope you have some success in finding free cna training classes in Idaho.
