A lot of people have asked where they can find free cna training classes in Nebraska, so here’s what i’ve found. Remember, it’s always worth trying to find a place that’ll sponsor you to take your cna training vs actually paying for it yourself. Most of the time, if you get your training paid for, then the only thing you need worry yourself about is buying your own supplies, paying for the state exam (although some places will pay this for you as well) and of course, studying very hard so you actually pass. Here’s a list of places that have been known to offer state approved cna classes in Nebraska:
Bethany Home Inc, 515 West First Street, Minden. Contact# (308) 832 1594
- Bethany Home Inc are known to offer free cna training. As far as i know, they don’t have this offer open at all times and they have limited spots, so contact them regularly to see if any spots are available, and if none are, ask when they might become available or if you can put your name on their list.
- If you can prove to these people that you are commited and eager to become a CNA, it’s possible that they’ll be able to help you out with your training costs. Most of the time they will expect you to work for them after you pass your cna exam, however it will be paid work so it’s definately worth it in order to get your training paid for, plus an added bonus of a guaranteed paid job in the field.
Blue Hill Care Center, 414 North Wilson, Blue Hill. Contact# (402) 756 2080
- In the past, The Blue Hill Care center have paid for cna training for people who can prove that they will be commited to passing the exam. You’ll need to work for them in order to pay for your training, give them a call if you want to find out if any spots are available.
Elms Health Care Center, 410 Ball Point Road, Ponca. Contact# (402) 755 2233
- If you’re ready to take your cna training, then it’s worth giving Elms Health Care Center a call. If they are hiring people at the time you call, it’s likely you’ll have a great chance of them offering to pay for your cna classes. I’ve heard good things about this place, they seem to be very laid back, friendly, and eager to help their employees.
- Garden County Hospital and Nursing Home are another of the few homes willing to pay for students to take their CNA training classes, and gain their cna certification. You wll have to display an eagerness to learn and complete your training, and prove to them that you have potential. You will be expected to work at their facility, and you’ll also need to meet their requirements to qualify for training. Give them a call and see what they say.
